Ghost Syndrome

An experimental portrait about the feelings of belonging from a Moroccan lesbian immigrant to the United States.  This experimental short documentary is an intimate portrait of a young woman’s sense of belonging, and identity. The experimental film making process further emphasizes these themes; with parts of the film intentionally burned in order to create an experience that expands beyond screen bringing the audience to feel, and breathe through her body at the same time that evokes the ungraspable substance of the screened image.
