Nicola “Okin” Frioli: “Princesses in a Land of Machos”


Freelance photographer who has worked for several years the on-tour coverage, photojournalism, and the portrait genre. For the last 12 years, he has traveled to several countries as Mexico, India, Pakistan and Cerdeña. He currently lives in Mexico City.

Okin has been widely published in magazines as National Geographic (Germany / Japan), TIME, The New  Yorker,  Geo, The Guardian, Financial Times, GUP, among others.

He has worked for various advertising agencies internationally. His work “The Other Side” participated in the exhibition Resilience in PhotoEspaña 2009 for the Cervantes Institute and has been exhibited in Chicago, New York, Rome, Istanbul, New Delhi and other cities around the world since 2011.
